Pre-Nursing & Health Care Careers two-year program
(junior and senior years).
You spend a full day at Tri-Rivers in lab and academics. You will participate in the Nurse Aide Training course which requires hands-on care giving at clinical sites in Long-Term Care Facilities.
Typical Wages:
- $9 to $15/hour starting wage
- LPNs—$15 to $19/hour
- RNs—$21 to $35/hour
- Radiographer—$20-$25/hour

Successful graduates of the Tri-Rivers’ Health Careers Academy will receive full scholarships for:
Learning Strategies, Math for Meds, Medical Terminology and Computer Applications if they choose
to attend the Tri-Rivers’ Adult Education program. -
North Central State College
Health Careers Academy students can earn 10 articulated credits.
- We encourage all Health Careers Academy students to “Job” Shadow our Adult Education programs, including Patient Care Technician, Practical Nursing and LPN to RN.
