We are so excited to have you here! Whether you’re heading into our Health Careers Academy, Welding, Culinary, or another program, here’s what you need to get started.
If you are new to Tri-Rivers, we hope you plan to attend Summer Sunset, August 7, 2025 at 5:30 p.m.
Our goals for Summer Sunset are:
- Connect with your lab instructor and gather any timely information to start school
- Get help with FinalForms completion
- Learn what to expect your first day of school
Labs will be open for one hour (5:30-6:30) so you can take care of last minute details with your lab instructor. We ask that you arrive as close to 5:30 as possible. If you do arrive a bit early, the Multi-Purpose Room will have seating for families until the labs open.
When you arrive at your lab, we will take attendance and hand you a color-coded folder. These folders will be prepared starting August 4, so if you make changes, it may not be reflected in the folder. Your color of folder indicates your level of FinalForms completion.
Red=haven’t started FinalForms
Yellow=started but didn’t finish FinalForms
Green=FinalForms are complete! You can pick up your parking pass in the front office tonight!
If you have a Red or Yellow folder, or have questions, please visit us in the Multi-Purpose Room after you visit your lab for help. We will have laptops and plenty of staff to help you complete FinalForms that evening. Keep in mind, students must have FinalForms completed by the first day of school to participate in labs.
Here are some helpful steps to help prepare for school:
- Final Forms: please start final forms and complete as much as possible. The first portion must be started and completed now, then in mid-July, the remainder of the forms will become available. Final Forms can always be accessed by visiting www.tririvers.com/finalforms. Final Forms must be completed for Tri-Rivers, even if they are required for your home school. In some cases, students may be required to complete a set for their home school and Tri-Rivers. Students may not participate in labs if Final Forms are not completed. If you are unable to complete Final Forms on your own, you will have the opportunity to get help during our completion workshop when you attend our Summer Sunset program in August. Helpful tip: when creating your account, use a personal email, not your school email.
- Order Uniforms! Each lab has specific uniform requirements, set by lab instructors. Please visit www.tririvers.com/uniforms for specific information and details about financial assistance. Please note, we are requiring families to work directly with vendors for uniforms. Tri-Rivers will not longer distribute uniforms on site. If you have specific questions about uniforms, please contact the vendor directly.
- All students must be up to date on their vaccinations or have a signed waiver on file. Seniors are required to have a Meningitis vaccination record or a signed waiver. Please submit all vaccination records or signed waiver forms by October 1st. Documents can be brought or emailed to your home school nurse or the TRCC nurse. Waiver forms are available on the Final Forms portal.
- Add your student and start using your Linq Connect portal. Create your lunch account here.
Bonus Item: If you are considering College Credit Plus, please visit your college’s website.
What to expect after Summer Sunset
The first day of school for new students is August 12. This will be an orientation day, where students will set up email, set up finger scans and receive their laptop. This will also give new students a chance to explore the building and be in their labs as a group. All students will be in class starting August 13.
