Program Description:
This fulltime program is accredited by the Ohio Department of Public Safety, Division of Emergency Medical Services and conforms to the U.S. Department of Transportation, 1998 National Standard Curriculum.

The Paramedic course consists of 350 didactic and 450 clinical hours.

Two courses are held each year. The daytime paramedic class is held from 8am to 3pm on Tuesdays and Thursdays and runs from September to June. The evening class runs from January to November.

Prerequisites: Current EMT-Basic certification, AHA Healthcare Provider CPR, Anatomy and Physiology, NIMS 100 and 700, and Medical Terminology. Work keys test in reading, math, and locating information.
