 The newly created law enforcement division is a
greatly needed addition to the already established
public safety sector of the Tri-Rivers Center for
Adult Education. The mission of the law enforcement
division is to offer the most advanced and career
directed law enforcement and corrections based
continuing education available today. In addition
to the outstanding dynamic material and educational
curriculum we offer the finest instructors who truly
believe in what they teach and have seen first hand
the powerful benefits of their experience and
knowledge given to the students after the seminar
course of instructions. Our instructors combine
real-life examples with just a touch of humor and
enthusiasm into the subjects that they teach. Our
instructors are dedicated professionals who deliver
thoroughly researched and proven skills and concepts
to their seminar participants.
Our
law enforcement curriculum will enhance the career
of the public safety officers by giving them a
dynamic high speed locally based continuing
education center. There are countless colleges and
schools offering the O.P.O.T.A. basic curriculum and
pushing out hundreds of officers throughout the
state. But in order to gain any continuing
education after the initial certification has been
difficult to get. Most often London, Ohio is the
best option at the price of a long drive and an
entire work lost day due to that drive. Tri-Rivers
is a local option centrally located in Ohio for your
continuing educational needs, and soon due to recent
legislation will be requirements.
 Initially Tri-Rivers law enforcement division
established four core programs to enhance the
educational needs at the request of our local
agencies. Those courses have trained a lot of
students ranging from police to probation to
correctional officers with excellent reviews and
comments about the training received at Tri-Rivers.
Our courses are reviewed and refined after each
course or instruction to maintain the highest level
of training possible for our law enforcement
community. By bringing our powerful, high impact
programs to you locally we can show students that we
are serious about their professional growth
assisting them to achieve critical organizational
goals, realize their full potential and objectives
and perform at their peak.
